I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over seventeen years experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist in the NHS and private practice.  I have worked in a variety of settings over my career, including inpatient settings, client's homes and schools.  I am registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and am a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

I offer an approachable and professional service, providing high quality psychological assessment and therapy to individuals. I am able to offer individual sessions to young people (aged 16 and above) and adults. Where there is potential benefit to seeing members of a family together, I provide group sessions to those family members.

I help young people and adults with issues such as:

  • Anxiety

  • Low mood

  • Psychological trauma

  • Adjustment to new circumstance

  • Anger

  • Feeling Different

  • Family conflict

  • Parenting

  • Adjustment to chronic/life limiting health conditions

  • Loss

  • Bereavement

I welcome referrals direct from clients, General Practitioners, Solicitors, Rehabilitation Companies and Insurance companies.

Working with young people

My work with young people (aged 16 and above) can sometimes involve additional meetings and visits outside of clinic sessions, for instance school or college meetings. When this is part of the agreed plan, this is always discussed with you beforehand and sessions are charged at my usual hourly rate.
